Hi All
My horse has been coughing a few weeks now. His bedding is dust extracted rape straw, his hay is soaked.
Had the vet out and they say there is nothing rattling around inside and his temperature is fine - we had antibiotics to clear any infection up but he is still coughing - mainly in his stable in mornings and when warming up being ridden in the morning.
I am putting American Airways in his feed to help clear him out and have just started on Winergy Ventilate about 5 days ago.
Has any one had experiences of using Ventilate? How long has it taken for you to see a difference if any?
Thanks in advance
Sarah

I have used ventilate a few times and each time got good results .
I really rate it I think I saw a difference in about five days .

We have one a bit like this! We do everything correctly like you then one day some dry hay or whatever blows into his path and that's it, he coughs for ages!
I quite like Naff respirator

It's really annoying isn't it!! i'm starting to feel like a bad mum but i am trying everything haha!!
Might try the liquorice extract as well

I have a horse with COPD and this year after looking on the internet decided to use Winergy Ventilate, I have hardly heard her cough this winter and not had to use her inhaler. Although I am sure its down to a variety of management regimes I am sure Winergy Ventilate has helped and I have definitely seen a impact when riding, she used to by very out of breath after canter work but this improved greatly after 5 days on Winergy Ventilate
