I've recently sold my horse, but for the whole four years that I owned him he was on Equilibrium, normally low energy but used medium (or mixed both) during competition season. He always looked fantastic, and his temperament was (mostly!!!) very consistent. I'd certainly use it again.
Not fed anything else now for almost 5 years.
my now 5yo started on the Growth as a weanling and I was so pleased with the results the adults switched over as soon as the others came out.
I've found that I needed far less than recommended and it has worked out mounds cheaper as a result.
All of mine are on the Low (Growth for the broodies from late preganancy/foalies at foot), although if I want more weight gain I use the senior. Have competed one of my mares up to PSG and never lacked any oomph on the low.
There have been quite a few threads on here on Winergy, particularly when they ran their feed trials. To save you having to search, here are a few of them, which shows a variety of views on the products:
It ranges in price depending on which one you buy but at my feed place averages about £12 a bag - bear in mind though that they are 15kg bags and not the usual 20kg.
The daily recommendations from Winergy are very high - I think about 3.5 - 4kg daily for my 15.2hh TB so based on that a bag wouldn't last long at all. However mine wouldn't eat that much each day and also in my experience of it they don't really need it. A lot of posts on here say people don't feed anywhere near the RDA but they do need 2kg a day to get the full vits/mins otherwise you would need to top up with a vitamin supplement.
I've posted on Winergy today as one of mine will only eat a scoop at a time ( about 600g ) so can't maintain weight on it over winter. I've asked what others feed with it and it seems that although it's a complete feed people get on well when adding beet with it so that's something else to consider too.
