Is going to be a hot day with 23 forecast, they also sound as if they have moved either the car park or the arenas, as they are saying allow time to hack there.
(great, I just love it when I trudge along camera in hand and all the riders walk past me covering me in dust

)
The going should actually be very good as not muddy or too dry.
CCJ has a really tough section, several Internationals and a lot of horses who have already been placed well this season, but Chocx loves Winkleigh so he should be ok.
A good start time too so we don't even have to leave here early..It's a short drive of 45 mins so not too far to get help if we have forgotten anything..(this time spare girths/bridle/numnah/reins irons and leathers etc will be packed just incase, we'll probably forget the horse)
Do come over and say hello if you're there, it's the wedgewood blue /purple lorry with a cream golden retriever in the front.

Good luck - not going to go but have fun.

I hope it is not too far a walk spoke to Caroline this morning a total of 33 horses going from the yard!

I'm definitely in with the scorers, so will keep an eye out for results - don't think I'll get away from the dressage sheets/results for long though. Plus side of being with scorers - less likelihood of going lobster coloured at least.

Good luck to all - lots of dressage sheets full of 10s would be nice - easy to add up.

Under 5 for a movement is a pain!

I shall probably be one of the lobster coloured helpers! I am part of the cross country start team. They have moved the cross country start - not sure where to though! Good luck to everyone taking part.

CCJ walked the course earlier and the start is right at the lower end of the course, hence the message re allow 10 mins..
The dressage arenas seem to be in different places too, and the SJ is where the XC start normally is.
The PN is a trot in then up the steps out, and then a skinny, and the Novice looks good, she says she wished she'd entered that now! (we won't move up until she is certain that fall hasn't knocked his confidence however)
How on earth will the Warren Farm lot get 30 plus horses there? even with two boxes it sounds impossible!
I reckon there will be a few of us lobsters tomorrow, I've packed the suncream!
