Does anyone have a dressage saddle made by Winners Circle. My horse needs a new saddle as outgrown the old one. My saddler thinks that this make would fit but they can take a while to come down from Walsall. I would just like to hear from those who have had one of these saddles. Thanks

Thank you for your reply Tinselpuff. How long have you had it and does it wear well? Does your horse like it> Sorry for the Spanish Inquisition

Haha it’s fine, I’ve had it about a year, wearing well considering it’s calf skin for gripiness ?. My only tiny thing is I wish I’d insisted on a shorter flap as I’m a midget but honestly it’s a small niggle and the saddle does a great job of keeping me in the plate!

It looks really nice, is it a monoflap? My saddler bought one out to my horse on friday but it was not wide enough she is quite wide on the shoulders but he said the tree was a good fit for her and so is coming back with a wide fit one. Calf skin sounds nice.

Yep it’s a monoflap with custom piping, stitching and panel at the back. They tried different trees on her to know which to build from and went from there. Skylla is a tricky fit so getting it right is super important!

I have a jump and my friend has a dressage. both totally delighted with them. neighbour about to get one of each for her daughters new horse, and another friend a dressage.
Both ours are monoflaps. John is incredibly helpful.

I have a jump saddle which I am (so far - only had it 8 weeks) absolutely loving!
John brought out a pile of trees to try on my horse, then built the saddle from there. I rode in a demo saddle he had at the time which fitted my horse but didn’t suit me, so they adjusted mine for me also (flatter seat, narrower twist).
