Winnie is at the vets

Winnie the Border Terrier has had to have a laparotomy today due to increasing gastric symptoms that weren't being controlled by diet or medication. They have found that she has got adhesions from an operation in March when she had a blockage - they say that they found a piece of rubber at the time but it is so out of character for Winnie to actually play with toys that we were suprised.
I hope that this operation puts her back to to the grumpy little terrier that she has always been.
