thinking of getting one of these for home use, has anyone had one, what are they like, how easy is it to change the gullet, are they any good for natives

Very easy to change gullet, depends how wide the native it, doesn't fit my trakie but she is a very odd shape. Faily comfy, what you would expect from a cheap synthetic really. I may be selling a 17 inch one with full gullet set (except for narrow) if are interested.....

The only thing to consider with natives is whether the saddle will accomodate the enormous shoulders they tend to have - which is partly why Wintec brought out their wide saddle which is straigher cut and would go up to an XXW.
If you native is Welsh or NF or one of the 'slimmer' types it might be ideal

No good for cobby flat backed horses at all as the 500 is based on a tb back,but saying that my horse is tbxid and the wintec gave him very bad muscle wastage.
