Wintec close contact - New V old version.

Hi, I have seen one on ebay that I am interested in, it looks in good condition and relatively new etc. However I noticed that it is the older version (could only tell because the panels didn't have the dotty look of the new 'equigrip panel linings') I wanted to know the difference between the older close contact and the new one.

I know that the old GPs were not a good shape etc but I'm only really interested in the close contact. Thinking about the panel shape, the seat and the leg room for the rider.

Any help would be great :) Thanks.
 
The only thing I can tell you is that our local master saddlers and fitters now won't stock the new style Wintec saddles as they consider they are too bulky, and that in general there is too much saddle between horse and rider. I've always thought the old style CC looked great!
