Wintec damage to cantle

I wonder if many people have had a cut at the cantlle, I can feel the tree and it is really sharp, not sure if it got dropped, it is the equisuede which looks natural but not as robust as the plain plastic finish.
Also how much does this drop its Ebay value?
Can I repair it myself, or does it have to go to Wintec?

Most saddlers will be able to repair this for you, depends on how much you want to spend, you can patch tears or put new seats on (expensive) most people opt for having the tear patched instead, Oz
