I was in the tack shop last week and decided to treat my boy to a nice spongy , wipe clean wintec girth, as we usually use standard cottage craft ones for just shoving in the washing machine. I've used it three times so far and each time I've really struggled to do my girth up! It's as if the rollers are stuck and won't allow the buckles to move up the straps. I've found it difficult while mounted and on the ground. I have a nearly new ideal saddle with quite thick new leathers but I didn't have the issue with my other girths so wondering if it could be a fault with wintec? If I take it off, the rollers move easily so it's not as if they're stuck or anything. Not really sure if its a valid reason for taking back to the shop bit it's no use if I can't do my girth up!
