Hi just wondering what every one preference is! one saddler has told us to get a wintec, another has said thorowgood obviously the t6 looks nicer but its what fits that counts and there is a thorowgood t6 high wither designed for Thoroughbred and warmbloods, its only a temporary saddle to break our thoroughbred in for 6months or so then will get him a nice leather saddle but never had a synthetic for long as they never fitted right. Both saddlers have been recommended to us so finding it hard to decide :o

I had a Winter GP with cair to break in my cob & loved it, only moved onto a Thorowgood Cob because he's so wide lol. My Wintec is up for sale atm if you wanted a 2nd hand one.

Probably go with Wintec. I've tried all types of thorowgoods over the years and just havnt got on with any of them. I find them too chunky, too much between you and the horse. Also found t6 nice but too big and they only started at 17".

I've got a T6 on my thoroughbred x which is built like a tb. I had to swop from a wintec as it was the wrong shape they are banana shaped. The T6 fits really well and I am pleased with it. It has a nice deep seat and good knee rolls which has kept me in the saddle on occasions that I would have come off in my wintec. I have decided to keep mine instead of upgrade to leather but I don't really compete serious just clear round sj. Hope this helps!

My T6 is on my 15.3hh dutch warmblood, its a medium fit and i love it as it does look leather and alot of people think it is. I've had it just over a year and its in excellent condition and i use it everyday, sometimes twice a day as it also fits my 17.1hh tb x id x very versitile saddle x Would 100% buy anouther one!! x
