I bought a wintec gullet off someone on preloved and it doesn't seem to fit my wintec jump saddle- the screws don't line up with the holes? Am I being thick and need to be a bit more forceful with it, it's about 2cm out. Does anyone have a photo of a wintec gullet as they one I have doesn't say wintec it says easy change gullet or something along those lines.

Sorry for stupid question just hoping someone can shed some light before I have to sell it!

What colour is it?
Do you have a wide or regular wintec? As the wides will not go into the regular.

And also how old is your saddle and the gullet? I think some of the older modals don't fit the newer ones.

I bought it online 2nd hand I think it's regular as believe it had a narrow gullet in it before. The gullet is medium wide and blue.

Easy change is wintec so should be the right one.

Mine can be a real pig to change and I have used a bit of force especially if I'm going wider but I worry about telling people to do that I case they break something :/

You will know if it is wintec by the ends, they flare out on a wintec gullet only. Easy change is wintec though.

I recently bought a second hand wintec 2000, and needed to go up a size. Went to our local stockist, with the gullet I'd taken out of the saddle, and was told the one that was in the saddle was a fake, and there are a lot of them around.

Hmm interesting. I will try again and see if I can get it to fit!

Okay this is the gullet i bought second hand for second hand close contact wintec jumping saddle.
Tried again at home and without stretching the saddle and damaging it, I cannot align the holes in the gullet up to screws on the saddle... hmm

It looks damaged. You need to take a photo of it straight on but the left doesnt look to match the right, but it could be the angle of the photo.

Its not bent its symmetrical- its just the photo. I cant find one on ebay that price, I now have to sell this as it does fit and im not sure why. Do all wintec gullets except wide range fit all models of wintec saddles. This gullet just doesn't seem to be the right one for the saddle as the length of the gullet and where the holes lie doesn't align with the screws in the saddle.
