Wintec-gullets- help please :)

A debate with the other half which colour is which, so tomorrow I shall go out and purchase a red one ;)
 
as above blue is medium wide.

Black is medium.

All wintecs usually come with Black/medium fitted as standard. If you need a black let me know as I have one going begging
 
Just an aside, but I think the Wide and Extra Wide gullets (red and grey) only fit the Wintec wide saddles. At least, that's how I read it.

Really? In that case I have previously forced some gullets where they shouldn't have gone....but I didn't really notice it being difficult to get the wider gullets in - where did you read that, I'd be interested to know if I've been using them incorrectly :o :)

No the wintec wide saddles have purple and lilac coloured gullets.
 
As far as I know from my fitter, Narrow to x wide fit the regular saddle and Wide to however many extra wides in the wide version which I have.
 
Yellow - narrow
Green - narrow-medium
Black - medium
Blue - medium-wide
Red - Wide
White - Extra wide

Those 6 can be used in the standard Wintec saddles

Red - Wide
White - Extra Wide
Lilac - XX-Wide
Purple - XXX-Wide
Dark Purple - XXXX-Wide

These 5 can be used in the Wintec Wide saddles. The lilac, purple and dark purples gullets must NOT be used in the standard saddles as it could cause damage to the tree. For the same reason, the yellow, green, black and blue gullets should not be used in the Wintec Wide saddles :)
