Hi, just a quick question - I am thinking about getting one of these and just wondering whether it has the same shape tree as the normal wintec? My horse is one of the few horses they actually fit so if the isabell is the same tree I may look to pick up a bargain on ebay.

I too am thinking of getting one of these saddles so am interested in the replies.

Zoon what sort of shape is your horse? Mine has high withers and a slightly dippy back.

All I can say is they are amazing to ride in!! They keep you in your seat and you really do not move!
They also keep you sat up nice and tall because they are so high backed.

Great Saddles - I am getting one for my horse

They are gorgeous to ride in but they wasnt suitable for my horse

He is a wide, flat backed wb with no withers. My saddler said they are for the opposite of what jack is. So, the finer horse with withers should be fine, im very jealous of anyone with this saddle lol xx

Yes, he has a high wither and a curved (but not dipped!) back. I have a wow jumping saddle, but am looking for a dressage saddle for the odd times I'll go and do a dressage test, so don't need anything flash but still want something with a nice deep seat and big blocks. If anyone has a spare flocked one in 17.5 or 18 then let me know!

What width do you want ? My YO has a flocked one for sale, but I think it's 17" - can check if you want ?

Think it has a medium gullet in it at the moment.

Also - my ID/conn uses a Isabell Werth Wintec, wide gullet, it fits her like a glove, she's wide and has a dipped back and I have never had a saddle fit her so well.

My middleweight cob mare has an Wintec Isabella and its great on her. I love it, its fantastic to ride in and I hack out in it as well.

I got mine for £200 through Trade IT so its worth shopping around.

I am looking for an Isabell worth dressage sadle, 17", pref with medium plate. Doesn't have to be perfect as it is for my youngester .
If any one has one for sale can you contact me please

Denise

I ride my young Friesian in an Isabell Werth saddle. He has a good wither, but he also has a wide flat back, and it fits him perfectly. The Isabell does not have the same shape as a normal Wintec 500 dressage saddle for example. I have two of these as well as the Isabell, and they don't fit my youngster as they sit a lot lower at the back of the saddle, tipping me backwards.

The Isabell is the one of the best saddles I have ever owned, even if it wasn't the most expensive!
