my horse was fitted with a gp hastilow saddle a year ago... its only a 16.5inch, which is fine as im petite.

however, im doing more jumping now than i was them and riding shorter a lot of the time.. so im finding my knees overhang the kneerolls sometimes...

my horse has also started to get in close to fences as we've gone up past 2ft6, and its been suggested to me that as he has prominent withers, a cut back saddle may suit him better and he maybe restricted a bit?

im looking at the wintec close contact jumping saddle , as i literally have no budget for a new saddle!

Throwgoods are definetly worth looking at. Lovely saddles particarly the T6 range. I got the dressage version second hand for £190 and love it

I had the wintec close contact and to be honest it was okay, i would not say the knee rolls are the greatest and the seat is quite flat, well it was for me. had to sell it as was no good for my flat backed cob. had a banna tree apparentyl! not bad value tho esp second hand ones, oh i had flock one.

Yep unfortunately Mazzieuk has hit the nail on the head, the shape of the tree means they dont fit that many very well.... they are great if they fit your horse in a standard medium headplate though!! Theyre not cut back either... keep a look on ebay for bargains in other makes, they do come up. I got a 2k brand new saddle for £500
