Views on Wintec saddles would be much appreciated, which is better Flock or Cair ??

My saddle that I have only had for 2 years no longer fits and instead of spending another small fortune on another brand new saddle that isnt going to fit in 2 years, I thought I'd go for the Wintect VSD & the dressage version.

I have given up jumping now and want to concentrate on dressage and hacking so thought I'd get a separate dressage saddle to save for competition.

Views and advice greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I have both and cant describe cair as being hard! Its soft and squidgy. Like the cair in my CC saddle, but appreciate that my flock can be fine tuned.
Just make sure that the wintec will fit your horse, they do fit some and then they look like a pigs ear on others.

I got flocked version on my Wintec CC as I heard that some saddlers won't touch the cair ones when it comes to refit them! I've had my saddle for 5 months now (I ride about 5 times a week) and so far the panels are still like they were when I bought it new so the flocking seems to hold up well.

I have 2 Wintecs with CAIR (a Wintec Wide and a Dressage, think 500) and they're excellent. The horse who wears the dressage one actually prefers it to his (far more expensive) leather flocked GP!
