Wintec saddles - your opinions please.

I've got a Wintec Wide for my Welshie - it was the only one I could get which I could make wide enough for him (XX Wide). I always thought Wintec's were cruddy saddles because they were the cheapest, but actually I really like my one! Its really really comfy and I love the CAIR and the fact I can change the gullet. Only thing I dont like about this one is that its VSD so not very supportive for jumping...

I also have a Wintec Dressage saddle on my other horse which is also lovely, my horse goes better in it than his very expensive GP!

I've got a 500 dressage and a Wide, the same as Christmas_Clairy, I've had the dressage for about 9 years and it's been my main hacking saddle, I love it but my horse has outgrown it width wise at times, and that's when I use the Wintec Wide - he is now in an XXXW tree! Just realised the pic of me riding in my sig is the dressage 500, and we were going over the moors that day for a fair bit of off roading!

I've had a few fit problems, but I don't think they're to do with the make of saddle, it's mainly because my cob is very short in the back, and the saddle length that fits him isn't generally the right size for my size 16 backside! I do find synthetics slip side to side a bit more easily than leather, but I do love the weight of synthetic saddles, if I can save my horse another half a stone I will, especially as I'm no lightweight.

Oh and in my sig I am riding in my Wintec 500 so you can judge yourself if it puts someone in a funny position - I don't think it does and I haven't ever been told that by my dressage or jump instructors
