Wintec saddles

Have been given a saddle to sell and owner wants X amount for it. She said she paid £500 for it and that the lady she had it from had a receipt stating it was £900 new.

HOWEVER

I have had a look online and the most expensive i can find this saddle new is £340

So basically - does anyone know of any wintec saddles that sell for so much that might account for the 'original' price??

(sorry if this is cryptic, dont want to be accused of advertising but i'm stumped)

as far as i can tell it is an old style ap/gp 500 - it has cair and is brown.

I remember when they first came out and they were no where near £900 I don't even think I paid near £500 new for one (and it was a several years ago when i bought mine).

thats what i thought, owner of the saddle has obviously been conned or something!

I might have to print of some evidence to show to owner as justification for why i cant sell it for £300 and there is no way on earth she will get the £500 back that she paid. Somehow i dont think she's going to be too impressed

I have the old style Wintec GP 500, bought it new 4 years ago for £275, saddler gave me a discount though Mines cair aswell but I think most people go for the flock theses days as the cair is quite hard. I need to sell mine and tbh im expecting to get about £70 for it ... if im lucky!

The GP ones were about £295 new, and the wide model was £325 or something. I know the Isabel werth dressage one may have been £400ish but there's no way a Wintec would be £900!

I have that saddle - Wintec VSD with cair. I got mine off eBay for £130. There are usually loads on there and they don't go for much.

There should be labels under the flaps telling you what type, size and when it was made.

I bought a second hand one last year on ebay for £105. You will have to print out some examples of the same saddle in order to persuade her she is not going to get £500.

I bought mines new 2 years ago for £300 wouldn't expect much money if I sold it on even though it's in great condition!
