Has anyone used a Wintec VSD saddle? I'm thinking of buying one for my pony as I want a new saddle thats decent but under £400. Or does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your comments!!!

I have had one for a couple of years and I really like it as it's straighter flaps fit my Ids shoulders better, plus I can carry it easier with it been fairly lightweight as I have a back injury.

i'd recommend the wintec 2000 over the wintec 500 one... when i rode in the 500, i felt like i was slipping about, but the 2000 held me more securely in the saddle. something i thought was important as the horse i was riding was Miss Spooky of the Year.... they also look slightly nicer, and there isn't a huge difference in price.

My friend has a VSD I think, it's not a bad saddle to ride in (better than the Wintec 500), better for horses like hers that have quite a big shoulder. The horse I share has a Wintec 2000 and that's a nice saddle, have done 4 hour hacks in it and hardly ached the next day

However I'd go for a nice 2nd hand leather saddle, leather is soo much comfier than any synthetic IMO.
