Just a quick one.

I have a 5 year old wintec wide up for sale.
Someone is enquiring if you can put the white (xw) gullet in from the normal wintec.

I swear mine has been in it before but I am having a brain blank moment.

Can anyone help?

I have a Wintec wide 500, it has a white gullet in as fitted by saddler, as a temporary measure till pony widened a bit. It hasn't pulled it in at all and slotted in ok. I'm not saying this is correct tho, so purchaser should make their own decision.

I was hoping to upgrade to a decent leather saddle this week, but an accident (non horse) has wiped out funds at present.

Same as Fuzzy Furry, I have successfully had a white gullet in a Wintec wide 500 fitted by a saddler who specialised in Wintecs.

The white gullet can be fitted to a standard Wintec. The pink and purple gullets are the really extra extra wide ones are for the Wintec cob saddle only.

I think the “Wide” set (for the wide saddles) starts at 1XW which is white and is the same as the white one that is, for some reason, called X wide (rather than 1XW) in the standard set.
