Winter breeches for men?

Only recommendation from this end is long johns under the normal Mark Todd ones;)

The man in my life is far to stingy to have more than 1 pair of breeches:o (which involved a lot of careful wearing when he did a Three Day Event & some very kind washing from the landlord when he fell in the water jump on horse no: 1 at a 2 day event:eek::confused::D)

I'm not trying to take the mick here, but if you wear a pair of tight's under your breeches you'll stay warmer, plus you don't have to shell out for breeches that are no good in the summer.

Today the good gentleman's breeches expired in style, so a replacement pair is required in any case... He only plays polo in the summer so winter only ones will be fine!

I've got the ladies version of the Oliver Townend winter breeches - Imp I think? They're not totally waterproof but good enough and very toasty indeed. I'm sure they do a male version.

You could try long chaps. I live in mine in the winter.

Or a pair of "Skins" (funky long johns, bought my husband some for golf and he swears by them now)
