I'm after a second hand dressage saddle for my daughters pony, nothing expensive as it's just for fairly local stuff. I haven't been able to find anything the right size and price but someone I know is selling her old wintec. I'm waiting for the saddle fitter to come out ( when I get hold of her), but having looked them up it seems they aren't very popular and are difficult to fit.

I've just tried it on to get an idea and daughter really likes it and seems a good fit for her, but more importantly that it fits the pony and I won't know that until the saddle fitter comes. His a 14.3 Connemara and does have withers!! Daughter is 5ft 9 so tall and long in the leg, any ideas on dressage saddles?? Or wintecs in particular.

Just realised my post says winter not wintec and can't change it lol

I've got my Welsh D in a wintec Isabel - he's fairly flat backed though.

I've found it to be the most comfortable saddle I've owned - I've got a thoroughgood and a Black Country saddle for other horses and they ruin my hips.

The wintec does tend to lock you into position which some people love and some people hate.

Can't really advise on other dressage saddles as I didn't look at others tbh!

I started out with a wintec dressage saddle. First brought it to get off my lads shoulder whilst hacker. But ny new boy started local dressage and it was a nice saddle. Ideal for local stuff and you can get them for about £100. I also showed in mine.
Then when i affiliated i upgraded to an isabella dressage saddle and its so comfy. But it costs alot more.

If its just local stuff i would say a normal wintec dressage saddle or a wintec pro saddle
