Winter essentials!

If you have more than one horse, have 2 wheelbarrows (if you can’t afford a huge wheelbarrow). I find it faster to muck out the 3 beds in one go, fill the wheelies and tip both when I’m done.
You don’t lose your mucking out mojo by having to do a muck heap trip mid way.

I buy a pair or two of these yard gloves most winters, I’m forever losing gloves so these are my go to…https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/38433585...ar=652515710576&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I have reynaulds…these are marvellous and only £7! Can’t go wrong!
Mine aren't this brand, but same principle and I love them. I bought two pairs, one for chickens and one for horses and they're going into their third winter. Also a Raynaud's sufferer, so vital to have warm hands!

My other essentials are sheepskin insoles in wellies (Aigle Iso Parcours), a good travel mug, waterproof hat, overtrousers and a stash of double chocca mocha sachets at the yard. I also keep an emergency pot noodle to hand.

I discovered "gloves in a bottle" handcream last winter, it's great at stopping dirt from embedding into dry skin on your hands.
