Have noticed these grass replacement nugget type feeds on the market now and was just wondering what people think of them?
Last winter my pony was getting very hungry as we are not allowed to feed hay in the field. YO now gives him haynet in morning before I turn him out, so trying to decide if this is adequate, or whether to feed him a bit extra when weather gets worse and grass is depleted.
Friend suggested alfaAoil but when I read up on it, it says it is for weightgain and I dont want him to put on weight, just not end up starving. He is currently on forage and lo cal balancer as only in lightwork but not overweight.
I know I am probably being a wet lettuce but just want other opinions to help me decide!
Thanks!
