I suffer from very bad circulation so I'm in dire need to invest in a good pair of winter riding gloves. I prefer riding in thin gloves though (current pair are Tredstep Showjumper pro and LOVE them!) but I know these won't be warm enough for winter!

I've heard a lot about Sealskinz although they look almost like ski gloves! How could you bend your fingers properly let alone hold reins!? So could you please recommend your favourites to me and I don't mind spending a big sum of money if it's worth it. :D

I'd heard only good things about sealskinz gloves and bought some a few years ago. I have to say that I found them useless and my hands were never so cold as when wearing them, they did seem to stop my circulation.

I ended up with some Mark Todd winter gloves which were much warmer.:)

A bit off topic, but do you have Raynauds? If your circulation is that bad, I am pretty sure there are some treatments that can help. Also magnets are supposed to help circulation; OH is wearing a band on his wrist at the moment.

Last winter (I'm in Scotland so we had minus temperatures quite a lot!) I wore my Mountain Horse high vis gloves, with silk glove liners underneath. It helped, but not absolutely 100% for hacking out. So I'd also keep a handwarmer in my pocket and ride one handed, with the other in my pocket on the handwarmer. Also, goes without saying but make sure the rest of you is warm enough too. Merino thermals are fab :)
