It's coming up to that time of year again... like it hadn't even ended.
I remembered last winter that mine plus many others suffered with fecal water syndrome. Mine is on haylage through winter and this time, I want to make sure I avoid the FWS and irritated bellies.
I spoke to NAF and they recommended GastriAid instead of the Haylage Balancer but then I see other people feed Pink Powder. I then also saw that some horses got footy on these supplements. Any recommendations please?
I also need to stock up on pig oil and recently posted a thread about Stockholm tar to help prevent sponge feet if it's anything like last year/early this year.
Trying to think of what else I might need. I've already got waterproof car seat covers and a wrap around waterproof skirt!
Really not a fan of this time of the year and I want to go into it completely prepared. Mind you, the more money spent with preparations, the less likely it will be wet!!
