Hi,

I'm looking for some new winter riding gloves. I currently have macwet short cuff gloves and some old woof wear gloves but wondered if anyone had any suggestions of gloves they really rate?

Currently considered Macwet climatecs, Sealskinz (look bulky?) Or some of the Ariat winter gloves.

Ideally I'd like waterproof or water resistant and warm but not too bulky!

Many thanks!
:-)

I've had several pairs of Sealskinz gloves and been very disappointed with the quality. They just don't stand up to heavy use, seams start coming apart after just a few weeks' daily use. I also didn't find them even close to waterproof!

The Ariat insulated gloves are lovely - really warm and toasty, but they are not waterproof. I can still easily manage even small buckles whilst wearing them though! For waterproof gloves, I wear Sealskinz, which are great but are quite bulky. If it really is cold and wet then I can ride in them if I have to, but prefer not to.
