winter riding/muck boots

I've always stuck with simple jodhpur boots tbh but I'm finding I'm ruining them walking round muddy fields and doing normal yard duties, its time for a change! The problem is I still want to be able to ride in them, so muck boots are probably not ideal. I'm looking more for the Dublin river boot sort but I've heard bad reviews about them. Any recommendations? thanks in advance x
 
Dublins leak and the soles come away...I've had 3 pairs now but won't have any more. They are lovely to ride in, though (in the dry!). I'm looking for replacements so will watch this thread with interest!
 
I have the Muck Boot Chore - they are great, totally waterproof, warm and really grippy in the slippery mud. They are havy soles so you can't ride in them, but they do have a boot with a riding sole. Think they are the Colt?
 
Ive got Dublin River boots and i love them, infact just got my 2nd pair. I had no trouble with mine they lasted me 2 years of mud rain and snow and never leaked til the end and i didnt really look after them either. They are easy to ride in and very comfortable. The new ones are supposed to be more waterproof and improved.
 
I work on a muddy yard and walk miles in mine. I've killed hundreds of different boots. Ariats have lasted the best! I've just picked up the ariat windrush boots off equestrian clearance on half price sale! They are designed for yard and riding, are waterproof and warm! I'm really pleased with them. Do go down half a size though.
 
I always ride in muckers as they are a lot warmer! and you can fit thick toasty insoles in them :) I had the woof wear short and long muckers, but both let the water in if it goes above the rubber part, very warm and good for riding though! I also managed to stretch some old chaps over the short ones
