for heavy winter rugs i love the weatherbeeta taka combos and the weatherbeeta orican combos. My WB is nesh and at the depth of winter (she lives out) she had a sumer sheet, weatherbeeta Taka combo & a masta 2000XL on top of it - she was toasty

Robinsons pony rugs are quite good, they fit my mare really well and are thick and warm without being too expensive.

need to be careful with horseware, I find that if your horse is well built they dont fit across the shoulders..... When my boy was lardy they fit terrible, but now he is a slim jim they firt lovely!!!!!
Otherwise weatherbeeta taka!

I have a strange obsession with rugs, and have urmmmm in excess of 25 for ONE horse!!!!!

My horse has a Bucas one. Its fab! I love it! I think she quite likes it too!

Both girls also have Horseware ones which I find very good.

I think you need to find a make that fit your horse though.....I have about 4 Masta rugs in my garage........it took me that many to realise they just dont fit my horse!!!

We use the silver lined Fal rugs, with detachable neck covers. Fit brilliantly, never slip, rub or leak. And best of all they are dual purpose so you just take if off when they come in, re-site the rug and that's them for the night. The same in the morning.
