Bought a heavyweigh Masta full neck - I know its not classed as an expensive rug, but it did cost just under £60 and the bl???? cross over belly strapes will not stay done up so have had to tie them with baler twine.

Have I just got a bad one - or is this a problem with Masta in general. With nine others wearing rugs this is my first Masta and the only one which has this problem.

Maybe I will avoid them in future.

the donut things are good, in the meantime try a plaiting band doubled over a few times or better still a lamb castration ring (if you are based on or near a farm!

My experiace with master is you get what you pay for there ok in emergencys but when i had 1 after a few wears it starded letting water in didnt have this prob but plaiting bands sounds a good idea...

I'm a weatherbeeta fan, in my opinion you get what you pay for and my weatherbeeta never leeks and never comes undone. Horse is always warm and it hasn't rubbed.

I bought a weatherbeeta full neck a few weeks ago and will never buy one again.rug has holes in it and has leaked.there is no barbed wire in the field. She only has to brush against a hedge and it tears.
