What short boots would people recommend for hacking in and walking through wet grass?

Must have decent grip, riding tread, and be waterproof and breathable.

Ideally durable. Need good sole bed for comfort. (I got a pair of tuffa jodpur boots with steel toe caps after breaking toe, and the sole bed just wasnt comfortable / supportive enpugh)

I already have wellingtons (for muddy work / washing things) and dressage boots for schooling.

Ariat short boots typically last me 9-12 months (despite cleaning and dressing them). Either I wear sole out / heel comes away inside / crack across toes.

My most recent purchase was BareBack short waterproof boots. These have lasted nearly 6 months, got a warranty replacement which lasted 9 months, but now leak badly in wet grass. Despite being greased, and despite being treated with waterproof spray every few months. I guess must be leaking at join with leather and boots not sure. But have damp feet. Not proven very durable.

I am a one horse owner, DIY but work full time in the office type job. Shouldnt be that hard on boots!!

Wondering about Mountain Horse Rider Classic Boots - the short chunky ones with laces? Mountain Horse Mountain Rider Classic Boot - Black (redpostequestrian.co.uk) https://www.redpostequestrian.co.uk...erm=4574861730511879&utm_content=All Products

I've got the mountain horse classics they are great boots I use them for everything alongside my country boots so I sort of swap and change them about so they are not worn everyday.

When I broke my ankle and the surgical boot had to come off they were the only things I could get my foot into for ages, so they were worn everyday for everything then and were the most comfortable.
