Winter showing ... hair and rug rubs

Wanting to go showing on sunday,

but my two have the usual winter shoulder rug rubs, and lost soem weight compared to normal summer weight.

Obviously there conformation is geat and show is good also, just want piece if mind that they wont be marked down for the usual signs of winter????

If they go better than all the others, then they stand as good a chance as anyone else, but they won't look as good as those with condition and no rubs, and it is showing, after all!!!

I have a dark bay horse that I show inhand (well I did last year) she has rug rubs on her shoulders and I just ruba bit of cornucrescine over it. 1) it helps with hair regrowth and 2) it actually makes the bald bits look not quite so bald. Obviously wouldn't work on a grey though
