I’m based in Derbyshire too. There aren’t really many venues’ in Derbyshire, though the surround counties are don’t take long to get to. The closest ones I would say are; Hargate, Field house, Markfield, Westfield park. But for a full list you can visit the BJSA website click on shows, then show areas and click on the map on where you are willing to travel.

I've been to Hargate in the winter and they placed horses and ponies together, so I imagine it wouldn't matter that you were riding a pony, although would be worth checking the rules.

I know on Sundays Marchington split juniors and seniors, and I think seniors have to ride ponies, but on Friday nights they run them together so may be worth looking there aswell. I think beaver hall allows adults on ponies aswell, although I may be wrong.

ok thanks everyone. I do go to hargate but they only run one a month. but ill have a look at the others thanks. oh n i live in belper in derby.

Field House (previously called Marchingotn i think) have bsja in winter i think.

Markfield EC isnt too fAR FROM DERBYSHIRE, JUST QUICK NIP DOWN THE m1 - THEY HAVE WEEKLY BSJA SHOWS

I do agree that derbyshire doesnt have the most arenas, as hargate is mainly summer for bsja...

(sorry for capitals...pressed it by accidnet...couldnt be bothered to retype it all :P haha)
