Winter work gloves

Which gloves do you find best when mucking out, filling water buckets etc in winter. Fleece ones are warm until they get wet and waterproof ones are too thick and make jobs like tying up hayonets or fastening headcollars difficult.

I use the fitted stretchy gardening gloves the underneath is waterproof and the top is like a jersey type material, I tie up hay nets and do fiddly things quite easily and hands keep warm.

These, last for ages. I only take them off when swapping to riding gloves lol

Or the Towa ones, I have a pair of each.
Only thing to remember is warm them before putting on. I wrap in a small towel and either pop on the radiator by front door, or stuff them between my legs when driving to the yard .

They are very similar to the ones I use mine are purple and from B & Q

This did make me chuckle, same gloves as the Screwfix pretty much but horsey site so double the price

I just bought some horseware yard gloves from Hope Valley Saddlery in the sale £3 or £3.50 for two pairs. The pimple palm ones are best.
Then when it’s colder I use silk glove liners underneath. Cheap from Amazon

Snowboarding gloves.. Warm, waterproof and grippy. I've had the same pair for 10 yrs.
