Winter work gloves

Which gloves do you find best when mucking out, filling water buckets etc in winter. Fleece ones are warm until they get wet and waterproof ones are too thick and make jobs like tying up hayonets or fastening headcollars difficult.

I just bought some horseware yard gloves from Hope Valley Saddlery in the sale £3 or £3.50 for two pairs. The pimple palm ones are best.
Then when it’s colder I use silk glove liners underneath. Cheap from Amazon
