Any recommendations for good winter yard boots?
I have the Fairfax and Favor Explorer boots, which I loved, but the sole of one came apart and instead of repairing, they replaced with a brand new pair. Really generous of them… except the cut had changed and the ankle is now too narrow to get on and off easily so I am hardly wearing them.
So I’m looking for a pair of boots that are really easy to put on in the morning and I’ll wear the Explorers when I’ve got 20 minutes to fight with a boot.
They need to do turnout and rug changes in the mud and ice, and would be helpful if they are ok to hop onto a horse if I need to. I won’t ride properly in them but find it annoying to have to change if I just want to hop on to do something.
