Hi,

With the mornings getting colder I'm looking for a pair of good winter gloves, I don't ride much myself so looking for something for general wear around the yard. Waterproof is not essential. Any suggestions?

I have Reynaud's so my fingers turn white fairly easily even on wet days (never mind cold and wet!). Thanks x

Although a bit more expensive, I recommend Sealskinz. Mine are probably 12 years old and still going strong. They come with a lifetime guarantee and are made in England.
If you wear cheap gloves, try wearing thin disposable gloves underneath, it helps to keep the heat in your fingers.

As others have said, Lemieux are fab. I believe they do lined ones for winter too?

If you do happen to ride more frequently, ariat thermal gloves are brilliant. One of the few pairs I have tried that are genuinely warm and still allow you to have a good grip.

For yard work and not riding I had sheepskin gloves, they didn’t cost anything like the horse related gloves..I found sealskins not warm enough for me as I have slight Renaulds which just involves my right index finger and it gets very painful and goes white ..
