ok i have narrowed it down from before.

I am now looking at ariat windemeres or these sherwood dalton country boots. I haven;t found any reviews but i think they look lush so thought it was worth a try on here.

basically looking for a stylish warm and very waterproof tough boots for hacking, wearing at my work at event yard and at uni on the yard and at home doing my own horses and possibly wearing out as well.

so opinions please :)

I also have the dublin new river boots which have lasted me years, but the inner lining has now ripped

and the mark todd winter cooke boots are super cosy and waterproof (they are similar to the mountain horse boots but give a slimmer leg fit as i have skinny legs lol)

just a few suggestions (:

I've got the Sherwood Daltons, they're fairly new but doing well so far! Have been ankle deep in mud/river and they've kept my feet dry, and lovely and toasty on a long hack on sunday in the freezing cold!

I've worn mine to uni with my jeans as well, just cleaned the yard mud off with saddle soap :p

I love my Ariats! Have worn the brand for years, currently have the 'Grasmere' boot, still plenty of life in this pair after 4 yrs of almost daily wear. Don't have any experience of Sherwood boots, have never heard of the brand but they sound good - not sure I like the sole it seems a bit chunky for riding? I would definatly get the Windermeres, you can get them from www.trot2.com for £125 and free delivery.
