winter

I'd need lots of help to make winter easier this year, I'm
Expecting our first baby in november.
I've just brought a nice snug pair of winter muckers which just Velcro up, and il be buying another pair of waterproof fleece gloves, their great.

I hate it.

I want some new waterproof trousers and boots.

I just bought a toppa-net, jobbie that goes over a round bale in a sheep feeder. Supposedly makes it harder for the horses to drag the stuff out and lie/poo on it, and extends the life of the bale. Just got the one for now but if its half as good as it says it is I will be content, and buy a couple more.

Oh and I need a new coat. The one Im wearing was bin ready months ago. I did buy a new equisafety one but its uncomfortable, the zips are rubbish, and the horses hate the sight of it :D so that wasnt a good buy.

Sheep hay feeder - adapted for horses.
Muddy Marvel Barrier Cream.
Head torch.
Warm, waterproof gloves.
Warm, waterproof boots.
My Mountain Horse hat.
Long, padded Mark Todd coat.
Two wheeled wheelbarrow (doesn't tip over).

I've been thinking about making something like that - I didn't know that you could buy them.

Tractor, quad, snow plough.

Quilted overalls. That's it :D

I love winter. My yard is like Spaghetti Junction with paths from house to barns to paddocks :)

My mini axe to break the ice.
Gloves... lots of pairs of gloves, so when one pair gets wet I can do a F1 change!
Waterproof trousers (they ain't so waterproof now, so need a new pair)
Woolly hat
Duvet cover... makes for an excellent 'santa sack' to carry hay out to the field. Much better than using a wheelbarrow which gets stuck in the ruts and the wind blows it everywhere!

I don't mind winter, as long as it is cold NOT wet! Please no more rain... struggling with the mud/lakes in the fields as it is!
