that was my other stand out wow one. They are just gorgeous. I wish I could afford it! Mind you, if I was going to spend a lot I'd get mine sculpted by the lovely lady I used to horse sit for I think

I think a biggish one was like £400 or so. Reasonably expensive I guess but you can see how much work goes into them so can see why they would cost a lot.

Mary did the most beautiful pastel portrait of my mare. It was so lifelike, it reduced me to tears. That pic is on her website - Barley Cove. She's such a talented artist and a really delightful lady who loves her horses and dogs....and donkeys!!

Her work is stunning! I found it really interesting how she used blue for the darker parts of the white face, i thought that was a really clever idea. I think in the future I will look into getting one done by either her, or by Papa Frita on here, both their work is amazing
