Wish I could have gone for a hack today!

The weather has been lovely today, spring is definitely on it's way. I've switched the radiators off in my office at work and opened the window to let some fresh air in and the birds are singing away, and I saw a squirrel running around on the grass which put a smile on my face. It's days like today that I'd love to just tack up and go hacking for miles and miles but unfortunately I'm still at work for the next two and a half hours and it will be dark by the time I get to the yard. I'm counting the days til the clocks go back!

Does anybody else feel like this?

Definitely! I've had the windows in the house open today (work from home) and rolled the car window down on the way back from the stables. Saffron's got her no-fill rug on as well today. There's just a happy vibe in the air

Hacked out this morning in just a shirt and jumper, NO COAT or exercise sheet on pone. Was lovely to have the sunshine on our backs Apologies if this induces any jealousy!

A hack would have been nice!!!! i am doing a course for work and have spent the day writing an eassy on Gypsy/roma and traveller children and their progress at school.....zzzz.... it is meant to be half term!!!!!!!!! I am sure Ffin is happy that i am too busy, although we did get out for a stroll yesterday! Maybe tomorrow.... back at school monday.

I know, I turned Bentley out in his no fill rug this morning. Everything just seems so much nicer now all the snow has gone!

I am very jealous! I'll definately be going out hacking all weekend though, although it is forecast to rain Saturday afternoon

I had to take my coat off when I was schooling last night, I got very hot!

I went for a hack at 4 o'clock and did our hour circular route and it was still really light when we got back! Hang in there people spring is on it's way

I took my boy out for a couple of hours hacking this afternoon! It is shockingly mild compared to a week ago. I've been changing over to lighter rugs today. Spring is sooo close, I can't wait!!

Went out about 1.30 with a friend whose horse can only walk at the minute (recovering from an injury), so we took it real steady; just ambled along, chatting and admiring the scenery! It was a really special 'spring is on the way' day

The boys were good as gold, too!

I would give anything at the moment, just to sit on my boy, I will just have to walk him in hand, as he has arthritus in the hock, recently diagnosed, blooming weather, 2 weeks ago, sound, passed flexion test, this week very uncomfortable. I hope you all have fab rides at the weekend, I am jealous, but hey ho, that's horses.

FAB hack today! My PRE was SO hot and full of himself today. Haven't hacked since just after Christmas so poor boy was just loving it all.
Hope its nice again tomorrow so we can do it all again on a longer ride.
