Harvard looks like a show bred border collie so I wonder if they’ve contacted the breeder to see if they have a waiting list of prospective owners. There are often folk on the rescue pages looking for a cat friendly collie (who may be happy to take Hazel too).
At £500 they may be looking to recoup some of their money though.

If it wasn't that I already have two dogs and neither are cat friendly I would love to take on this pair. We always used to have cats and dogs and they got along brilliantly. One of ours was very fond of one of the cats in particular and was very upset when she died.

We took a similar pair, years ago. They had lived together for a few years after the collie had been found tied to a lamp-post outside the house of a family that I taught. The family then had to move house and couldn't take the animals with them.
The pair settled really well into our 'pack' and the cat became Yard Manager, turning his paw to roofing, drystone walling and fencing as well as mucking out and checking the stock but they were always close to each other.
I really hope that this pair aren't split up.

Love the cat being yard manager . My little Siamese Rosie really loves my female Weim Molly. They are really close and often curl up together and play
I never underestimate the bonds different species have. An old friend used to have a white house rabbit and a white cat, and they adored each other .
