As some of you may know on previous posts I have recently found out my horse has a screw in the top of his cannon bone which is touching th joint, and bone spavin in both hohocks currently sound lightly hacking at the minute due to Weather but since I've found out I am now a bit paranoid to the point now that if we get a cold spell and ground freezes I don't want to put him in his boggy field for risk of ddamage we have a corral at the yard so planning to put him in there so he is still out but on better ground but it means letting the person down who's horse I bring in every night (they share a field) and I feel guilty, ignorance was bliss, although I'm glad I know but sometimes I wish I didn't I've had him years without knowing so why has things changed now?? Every time I feel warmth/heat in the leg I panic! Surgery isn't an option to remove screw at the moment and at 18 I'm not sure I would do it
think I need a good slap!
