, fingers crossed that to day I FINALLY part with some money and by midday today I am finally sorted some 10 weeks later and am a proud owner of a new saddle.
very very best of luck! it is a total minefield. if you don't have any luck, or aren't convinced by whoever is coming today, stick the horse in the lorry, bring it down to my place and my local guy (excellent Master Saddler, does British Team horses) will definitely sort it out properly!
Everything crossed. Have you considered a Sue Carson? Flair system means lots of flexibility. I've got two( a dresaage and an xc) and they've been modified through air system five times to suit different horses from a 17.3hh id/tb x /a 16.3 ish eventer, to a 14.2 welsh d good doer !! My seat always happy as same plate! Horse happy as right fit! They may cost £2k but they'll prob last me out!
Good luck!!! (ps don't muck about with Flair - it feels lovely to ride on but in the long run IME it can cause real problems for the horse. Stick with the traditional stuff)
