Best of luck.

I did consider riding mine this morning thinking the snow would be a soft landing, but he had a "come on then, if you think you're hard enough" look on his face!

Hope it goes well... steady... whoa... eeeaaasssssy...stedddddyyyyy...wwwwhhhhooooaaaa

good luck..... I was bordering on that last week, however knocking my girls bucket feeds on the head, upping her hay and managing to get her out in the excuse for a winter paddock seems to be helping her hold it together.

The joys of box bound TB's eh

OMG! I also have a TB called Foxy!! Mine is Foxy Lad

He's also been cooped up now for a week and counting and the snow still keeps coming

Been able to let him stretch legs in field for a couple of hours each morning but no work so consequently, one very bored horse

I have cut hard feed down and upped hay to try and keep him occupied and sane but getting back on (fingers crossed snow will be gone by weekend) will be interesting. He was also pretty fit before this enforced break so expecting fireworks!

Good luck to you!

I know the feeling! Rode my horse for the first time ever in a snaffle (also having not had any Magic calmer for well over 3 months now,) the day before the snow came, however looks like the dutch gag will be going back on whenever this damn white stuff disappears!!

Good luck and hold tight!!!

Sod it, im gettin on tonight! It has snowed here most of the day but ive just looked out of the window and its rain/sleet and the snow is melted nicely! Hopefully the school will be de-snowed too!
2 weeks without a single inch of leather between my legs is long enough!

she has been turned out for at least an hour everyday - but by her self so she just sulks by the gate when she's out and when she's in she goes mental!!!
She was 'bouncy' to get on it took a while as she wasnt going to stand still and help me get on as its far to exciting!!!!
The main roads near me are fine so we went for a wander- which turned into cantering down the road side ways :s then she settled and just walked very fast when we turned for home we were very over bent and walking even faster, 2 busses and a skip lorry later we were once again cantering/bronking/lunging and being a general idiot untill we went past the turn for the bridle way and she realised we were not going cantering around the country side, she walked home like a saint! Im never going to survive my dressage test at the weekend!!! thanks for all your luck! i just hope the snow dosnt come back here in essex!!!
