The Dizzy saga continues...

Rode a week last Tueday (was it only that long ago!). Cantered her, albeit briefly lol and was feeling good. Had to be on client's site early next two days so could not ride (can't be on yard before six a.m.). On the Thursday D2 was lunging her and she suddenly didn't look right. Vet came Friday, said very unlikely the pelvis issue, more likely a tweak in the stable or field :). Paddock rest. We went to Cornwall for the weekend. Came back with a stonking cold :(. Trotted Dizz up, but still not quite right, though better than was (she had been dragging hind feet in trot). Rang vet who said continue field rest for the week...

So, today I get to find out how the great big lumpin' great hoss is doing... :o:confused::rolleyes::eek::p. I still have the stonking cold, which has caused more trouble than you'd believe possible, but such is life . So long as m'hoss is feeling better!

Please, all digits and spare bits crossed and indeed plaited :D that the Dizzy one is sound . If she is, as of Monday we start the fittening regime (again!). We are now used to getting up at five o'clock (yup, a.m.) and we just want to crack on with things :D;):D

Hot choccies to all, and Ferro Roches to anyone that manages to keep at least two fingers crossed for us :)

Oh good luck, all appendages crossed! You definitely deserve a break with The Dizzy one! (Sorry let me rephrase that, you definitely deserve some luck with the Dizzy!)

Thank you all :)

Unfortunately all good wishes and thoughts came to naught :( Still lame.

I have to admit to turning her out, then sitting on a wall, warm in the beautiful sun, and crying. A lot. I blame my cold.

Just booked physiotherapist for Tuesday. Going to email Sue Dyson at the AHT in a wee while.

Have crossed my ankles, leaves the fingers free to type!

Look forward to seeing a happy post soon

*Couldn't find a smilie with fingers crossed but this one made me smile*

Awwww Mrs M how utterly cr*ppy for you. So sorry.
Hugs and hot choclolate with marshmallows and sprinkles and whipped cream for you x
It is awful this rollercoaster of sound/not sound. Nothing useful to say except "sorry" and "know how you feel" which doesn't solve anything but at least you know there are lots of us thinking of you and feeling the same x

Poor you! It does all sound a bit depressing at the moment, but chin up!!!! You'll feel better once the cold clears and I am sure Dizzy will get over this little upset!
