This is a bit daft, but it feels like George and I are going on a little adventure tomorrow
we are doing our first proper hack to a show. Thanks to everyone's advice on here we now have a little saddle bag with all manner of useful things in it, but most importantly treats for George, rescue remedy for me and some baler twine
Think the hack will take about an hour each way across the fields, this is a big thing as I do find open spaces like this a bit scary
so I shall take my mind off it by warming up as we go and reciting the test to George
We are just going to do one test, the dreaded prelim 10 (I find it a real toughie, cantering at A and across the full diagonal - eek), give G a little rest and then have a very gentle amble back.
So that is the plan, I really hope it goes well and doesn't dent my precarious confidence, but it would be so good to know that I could hack to a few shows and not keep begging for lifts
Anyway, bit pointless, just thought some good luck and non-spooky vibes for George would be good
