Planning to have my first post-baby ride tomorrow. Cannot wait
Baby is now 3 months old and after a catalogue of disasters (long and complicated birth, colic, refusal to take a bottle or nap in the daytime) I think we are finally, finally organized so that I can leave the house for 2 hours and RIDE. Thankfully my mare has been exercised by my sharer since the baby was born but I still can't help feeling guilty that I have neglected her.
Goodness knows how I will feel afterwards - very sore I think! Mind you, one of the few ways to get Mini Hippo to sleep requires bouncing on a gym ball for 15 minutes so I think my core strength may not be too bad...
