Wish me more luck, please?

Here's more vibes hoping they can come up with a third way involving something devilishly weird that will go away with plenty of good vibes.

Well, one can always hope.

Fingers, hooves and paws crossed for you and your girl and hoping for more continued improvement!! *VIBES* and ((((hugs))))
Is this what you posted in feed thread before?
K x

True - even the vets tell me I'm unlucky with this girl!
S :D

Is it the same mare that had the colic surgery? Poor girl if so, doesn't seem fair at all. It's not the same at all really but a friend's mare had really severe purpura haemorrhagica several years ago, t'was touch and go for a week or two but she did make a full recovery with the assistance of vast quantities of steroids.

more good luck vibes on their way.

Jeez Shils you are having a rough time at the moment aren't you :(
Sending your mare lots and lots of positive vibes, and I'm gonna be brave and send you a virtual hug too ((( ))) as by the sounds of it you need it. x

Thankies - I appreciate all your good wishes.
More good news tonight - they took her off the strong painkillers she's been on, and she's remained bright and cheerful, and is eating her way through their winter hay supplies. :D
Now they are going to wean her off...the antibiotics, the codeine, the second anti-gastric ulcer drug...and the vets seem to think she'll be able to come home by the weekend.
Don't know how long she'll live for, but at least I feel I've given her a(nother) chance.
S :D

Is this your old mare again?

Everything crossed for a miraculous recovery and lots of ((((((vibes)))))) coming your way. :)

So glad to hear things have improved for your mare...I missed the post on this one earlier so have not been following. Huge continue to be well vibes from Norway x

I am recycling my thread. :D
My girl is coming home to the yard today from the vets, where she's been for 2 weeks.
She will be on Pred for a while, in the hopes that her allergy problems will be controlled (assuming that's what caused her illness), and I guess time will tell whether this second chance at life works for her.
Thanks for all your good wishes.
S :D
