As he is having the snip tomorrow morning

I know it is a straightforward Op and he will be fine, but I am worried nontheless

grin.gif

So wish him luck, and a speedy recovery
grin.gif

He is just distraught at not being allowed any food after 8pm, that means his bedtime bonio is out of the question
shocked.gif
He is NOT happy!!
grin.gif

My OH had a rather unfortunate stamping incident during a game of rugby on Sat, and he is now full of sympathy for what Otto is going to be put through!
grin.gif

By the way, after seeing his pics I'd earmarked him as a suitable boyfriend for my little Brook (in my siggie), suppose thats a bit of a no goer now (well after tomorrow anyway

He'll be devestated now, that is the second GF he has had to turn down
grin.gif

I have already offered to store some of his manly fluids in the fridges for when Puppy's Popple is all growed up
grin.gif

She has dared me to ask the Vet about getting it tomorrow
smirk.gif

Good luck Otto, will be thinking of him.

My little bitch, Tilly, is going in to be spayed tomorrow also, so if there is any spare good luck vibes can she have some too please
smile.gif
She is also equally miffed at not being allowed any food, not a happy pooch
mad.gif

Thankyou - she roused briefly from her half-starved stupor to say that she feels better knowing she is not alone in this torture

Good luck Tilly

Has he gone yet Hen?

Just dropped Tilly off (glad it was early, couldn't stand the pitiful "give me breakfast" face for much longer
crazy.gif
).

I have to ring between 2-3pm.

Good luck Otto x

Just got home from dropping him off, he was very excited this morning because OH was at home and that means he has an exciting day ahead... little did he know what lay ahead really!!
crazy.gif

Also have to ring between 2-3pm! They will be under at the same time!

Good luck Tilly!

Just picked him up.

Surgery was straightforward, and he woke up well.

He is now trying his hardest to stay awake, but is slowly failing
grin.gif
Has a little dressing on it
grin.gif
Bless him!
grin.gif

Seems to have forgiven us, is currently curled up on the sofa with us having lots of cuddles
grin.gif

Bless him, glad it went well and that you are forgiven
grin.gif

Tilly is home too, she is very sore and sorry for herself. She keeps whining (sp?), she's got her bed next to the radiator and her favourite teddy
smile.gif

Otto is his usual cheery self, just a little quieter! The Vet said he would probably not be hungry tonight, but not Otto!!
grin.gif

He is currently playing with his latest toy... A new ball
smirk.gif
grin.gif
(And the shop sold them in pairs, so he has two brand new balls
smirk.gif
)

He hasn't seemed bothered at all by it yet, I'm guessing his pain killing injection hasn't worn off yet, but just one more thing that is far easier for Men to go through
mad.gif
grin.gif

PMSL at the new balls
grin.gif

When Ki (my other dog) was castrated the vets rang me at lunchtime to say that all had gone well, he was still sleepy and we could collect him around 3pm. An hour later, they rang back and asked if I could come and get him as he was so noisy, whining and barking at the dog next door trying to get it to play with him
grin.gif
grin.gif
He didn't seem to notice much either,,, his are now known as "his flats" cos he's still got the little flap of skin
grin.gif
smirk.gif

I was told that Tilly would probably not feel like eating either. Have just given her tea, she wolfed it down and has now stopped whining and gone to sleep
laugh.gif

LOL!
grin.gif

Otto just had a big long whine, almost like a howl, however I think it was because no-one was taking any notice of him and his new toy
grin.gif

He is looking rather traumtised now though, obviously having flashbacks
grin.gif

The Farm Dogs gave him a welcome when he got back, one of them has been castrated, he gave Otto a "knowing" look!
grin.gif

Was it an extra high-pitched howl?
grin.gif

Glad that he and Tilly are both ok, sure they look very fetching in their cones (which apparently are called Elizabethan collars I'm told, makes them sound like something out of a costume drama!).

Henry feels Otto's pain! He too sings boy soprano
grin.gif

LOL!

Otto doesn't have his cone on ATM
grin.gif
We have fairly narrow passages in the house, and he kept getting stuck behind the sofa
blush.gif
He isn't bothering with the stitches, so until we leave him on his own, he can be cone free
grin.gif

It's like a graze plaster
grin.gif
I thought that too when she said it had a dressing on
grin.gif

She said if it stayed on fine, if it didn't that was fine too, but it is still hanging in there!
grin.gif

It looks very funny.

Bloody Spaniel, I was expecting him to be a little dopey tonight, he normally sleeps all evening anyway... but no!!
The ruddy thing is deperate for us to play with him! Keeps dropping his toys in our laps
grin.gif

He has begged for every scrap of food within a 30 mile radius - and even whined because I was ignoring him
mad.gif
Something he NEVER does
mad.gif
So much for being off his food
