Just shamelessly touting for some good luck vibes really

I am doing my first ever HT tomorrow

I did some xc when I was a kid, but since then I have just been xc scholing with George twice, so I am a little nervous to say the least, but excited as well (I think

). I am just off to walk the course, only the novice 2ft, I just hope they are quite small and not too scary!

Thanks all

Very best of luck - I have yet to do one and I think I will be pushing 30 by the time my baby horse is old enough and experienced enough!!

It's great to hear of adults taking up hunter trials - you never know you might make it hunting next year! I look forward to hearing how you get on.

Go George and his mum, how far have you 2 come on in the last year. Huge, huge good luck vibes to you for tomorrow, what time will you be jumping, I'll keep everything crossed although I don't think you will need it. The 2 of you are so good together and you know George always does his best and really looks after you, expect to read a glowing report tomorrow night.

Good luck!!!

Will be thinking of you and sending vibes. Just think about how big your grin will be when you complete the course! It makes all the butterflies beforehand worth it!

Um, don't worry about pushing 30, I will be 40 in a few weeks time!!!

Hm. At the rate I'm going, I'll be coming up to my fiftieth before I get my first HT...

Good Luck for tomorrow, you and George will do great! I have a Hunter Trial tomorrow too, also doing the Novice but it’s 2ft6-2ft9 for me. This is the one that worries me (it looks bigger in real life, as they always do), I have never done one of those before:

Oh heck that is scary! I have just walked my course and skinny logs seem to be the order of the day! One is so skinny that I think George will get stuck between the flags!! Also there are some blue barrels that I am really worried about...................

Gorgeous, I started back Hunter Trailing last season after a 16 year break - Im 46 now.

Tips - Look straight over the jump and keep a good strong canter, and just remember - it will be over in 5 mins or so.. lol

Looking forward to reading your report. xx

Best of luck!! It'll fly by - you wait.

You're braver than me - I won't jump Jazz over a log on the moor (but he did nearly kill me by his tripping habit just plodding along so maybe that's sensible!)

Just keep sitting up and keep your legs on and you'll be fine.

Let us know how many rosettes you win

Good luck for tomorrow!

I have read loads of your posts about the fab George!

I am sure he will look after you and you will have a fantastic time - looking forward to seeing pics,
