Taking my Youngster on the roads for the first time tomorrow, he is rising 3 (3 on may 1st) and its going to be the first time he has met traffic properly. We have walked him past the cars on the yard and has met some farm traffic.
We are leading out with a safe pony in the lead and my mum is going to walk behind and slow cars.
Hope he is a going to be a good boy!

awww Im sure everything will be fine!

I used to take my 3 year old for walks in the village to get her used to the hustle and bustle, then I rode her out one time on my own, as I dont have anyone to ride out with, and she was fine! She loved it! Spooked here and there but didnt do anything dangerous and after going out two or three times she didnt even flinch when a bus passed us.
